SP40H – Advanced Professional Thermal Imaging Camera for Industrial and Scientific Applications
Introduction
The SP40H is a premium handheld thermal imaging camera engineered for industrial diagnostics, research, and high-precision thermal analysis. Designed for engineers, technical inspectors, and maintenance professionals, it delivers exceptional accuracy, superior image resolution, and advanced measurement tools for complex inspection scenarios. With interchangeable lenses, laser-assisted autofocus, and ultra-wide temperature coverage, the SP40H is built for demanding industrial and scientific environments.
Main Description
Featuring a high-resolution 480 × 360 infrared detector (172,800 pixels) and enhanced SuperIR 960 × 720 processing, the SP40H captures exceptionally detailed thermal imagery at a smooth 30 Hz frame rate. With a thermal sensitivity (NETD) below 30 mK, even the slightest temperature variations are accurately visualized, making it ideal for precision inspection tasks.
The SP40H supports a wide temperature range from -40°C to 2200°C (-40°F to 3992°F) with outstanding accuracy—±1°C or ±1%, depending on range—ensuring reliability across both low and high-temperature industrial applications. Its interchangeable lenses (6 mm, 9 mm, 19 mm, 37 mm) and laser-assisted autofocus provide flexible imaging across multiple inspection distances, from close-up electrical boards to long-range industrial targets.
The 5-inch 1280 × 720 LCD touchscreen with manual or auto brightness adjustment offers intuitive control, while digital zoom (up to 12x) and multiple imaging modes—Thermal, Visual, Fusion, PIP, and Blending—enhance visual analysis and reporting. The SP40H includes robust measurement tools such as 10 user-defined spots, 1 line, and multiple rectangular and circular areas for comprehensive analysis.
Data management is optimized with a removable 64 GB SD card, supporting up to 60,000 radiometric JPEG images and 64 hours of MP4 or radiometric video recording. Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz / 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C, and HDMI-D interfaces provide flexible connectivity, while voice and text annotations simplify reporting.
Built for durability, the SP40H features IP54 protection, shock and vibration resistance, and compliance with IEC and EMC standards. It operates reliably between -20°C and 50°C, includes GPS and compass integration, and features a laser distance meter with a range of up to 50 meters indoors. Powered by an interchangeable Li-ion battery, it delivers 4 hours of operation and recharges fully in 2.5 hours.
